Certified Pest Control Technician

Freedom Pest Control Company is looking for pest control technicians to join our team. We have 4 levels of technicians so please read all postings. Freedom Pest was started in 1993 with a focus on going beyond customer service and pest control. Working in professional pest management is so much more than controlling pest problems. It's also building relationships with customers and educating them about how to reduce pest issues in their homes or businesses.

Our current position is a Certified Pest Control Technician who will work in the Boston & North Shore area. This is a technician who has more than 3 years of experience and has taken and passed a category exam. This person has good IPM troubleshooting techniques, understands how IPM practices affect insect and rodent control problems and has a good understanding of animal droppings and can identify them.

Base pay is $16-$19. You can add to your base pay while employed with Freedom Pest with the following qualifications:

Add $1 per hour for a NH Pesticide License

Add $1 per hour for each approved additional MA Pesticide Category.

Add .50c per hour for WDI Certification.

Responsibilities:

Provide inspection services to residential and commercial customers at their homes or businesses in order to solve pest issues.

Utilize multiple IPM approaches to come up with solutions.
Document your approach and the final results of the solutions utilized
Provide education to the customer on ways to avoid a similar problem in the future.

Qualifications:

A Massachusetts Pesticide Certification.
3 - 5 years of related work experience.
Valid driver's license.
Clean CORI report and drug test.
